Abington students and their advisers were physically exhausted but joyous after helping cook and serve thousands of meals last week during their Alternative Spring Break in Washington, D.C.
Abington student Jaclyn Wanat and Shruti Gupta and associate professor of Marketing Shruti Gupta are in Spain this week for the International Marketing Week student competition. Wanat was chosen from among 12 students by Abington’s business faculty to attend the program at the Universidad Europea de Madrid y Valencia, in Spain’s third largest city.
This Religious Studies class is headed for London and Salisbury, England, to continue their studies of "Religious Uses of Neolithic Stone Circles in Southwest England".
Students taking "The Sandinista Revolution" course are headed to Managua, Nicaragua, over Spring Break to join with students and faculty from the Universidad Catolica de Nicaragua (UNICA) for seminars, service to the poor, and day travels.
Over 80 students attended the Sexual Abuse Awareness Program on Feb. 26. The program featured Philadelphia lawyer Stacey Graham and Chris Kirchner, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Children's Alliance.
